By accessing our website or using our car rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Rental Requirements

Driver Eligibility

• Must be at least 21 years of age (25 for premium vehicles)
• Valid UK or international driving license required
• Minimum 2 years driving experience
• Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)

Documentation Required

• Valid photo identification (passport or driver's license)
• Credit card in the primary driver's name
• Proof of address (if requested)
• International driving permit (for non-UK licenses)

3. Booking and Payment

Reservations

• Bookings are subject to vehicle availability
• Advance payment may be required for certain bookings
• Modifications to bookings may incur additional charges
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for full refund

Payment Terms

• Payment accepted by major credit and debit cards
• Security deposit required at time of rental
• Additional charges may apply for extras and damages
• All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated

4. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

Permitted Use

• Vehicles must be used in accordance with UK road traffic laws
• Only authorized drivers may operate the vehicle
• Vehicle must be returned in same condition as collected
• Smoking is prohibited in all vehicles

Prohibited Activities

• Racing, rallying, or competitive driving
• Towing or pushing other vehicles
• Transportation of illegal substances
• Use by unlicensed or unauthorized drivers
• Exceeding vehicle capacity limits

5. Insurance and Liability

• Basic insurance coverage included with all rentals
• Additional coverage options available
• Customer responsible for damages not covered by insurance
• Third-party claims may be customer's responsibility

6. Return Conditions

• Vehicle must be returned at agreed time and location
• Late returns incur additional daily charges
• Fuel policy as specified in rental agreement
• Cleaning fees apply for excessively dirty vehicles
• Damage assessment conducted upon return

7. Limitation of Liability

Drowsy Shores's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
